Who we are
Patsy’s journey into therapy began with her personal experience as a mother, navigating her son's diagnosis of selective mutism. This experience ignited her passion for helping others, particularly those facing selective mutism and OCD. As a therapist, entrepreneur, and mom, she loves supporting individuals through various stages of life and finds fulfillment in working with children and families.
Patsy uses evidence-based modalities to treat anxiety and OCD in children, adolescents, and adults. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). She has a special focus in selective mutism, which includes specific modalities that involve systemic change using strategies from PCIT-SM and Social Communication Anxiety Treatment. Additionally, she is trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), offering parents specific interventions to help their children manage anxiety.
Patsy enjoys connecting with her clients through humor and relational aspects, creating a warm and engaging therapeutic environment. In her free time, she enjoys running, sewing, spending time with her family, and soaking up the beauty of nature.
